-As a provider of international financinal outsourcing services with hunderds of customers, Staria has a complex solution environment, which is rapidly migrating to cloud. This places a strong emphasis of identity management as the key security component as the vast majority of security breaches are due to issues related to identity breaches or misuse. The Appmore IAM as a Service solution gives Staria a platform to enable robust access management whose capabilities meet our current and future needs across the solutions and geograhipies based on industry leading ServiceNow platform without needing to directly source ServiceNow licenses or implement it.

Scope of delivery

The project involved implementing an IAM solution for a customer without an existing ServiceNow instance by leveraging Appmore’s MSP ServiceNow environment. The implementation included seamless integrations with on-premises Active Directory, Sympa HR, and Entra ID.


Appmore’s IAM application and MSP environment provided the foundation for this solution. The IAM implementation incorporated integrations with On-Premises AD, Azure AD, and Sympa HR. From a technical perspective, SaaS platform integrations were built utilizing REST with JavaScript, NodeJS, and PowerShell. The services operate in cloud and Windows environments. The technologies used in the project included REST, JavaScript, PowerShell, and NodeJS. 


Key benefits of the implementation include automated access provisioning, minimizing manual work and granting access within minutes. Security is ensured by restricting users to only the resources they need. Centralized access management enables control from a single point. The solution also provides request transparency and an audit trail, allowing for monitoring and reporting of both current and past accesses. Additionally, the ServiceNow portal enhances user experience by providing visibility and ease of access management.
