The event was hosted aboard a private dinner cruise that set off from Keilaranta Harbor and sailed through Helsinki archipelago before arriving at Kauppatori. The evening was filled with delicious food, surprise awards, and heartfelt moments that celebrated the company’s achievements and the dedication of its team members.
Employee of the Year award and a decade of commitment at Appmore
The night began with an archipelago-themed dinner that featured local delicacies and seasonal ingredients. As the team enjoyed their meal, a series of awards and recognitions were presented to honor the exceptional contributions of Appmore employees over the past year.
Our consultant Henrik El-Khouri was named employee of the year based on votes from his colleagues. Alongside this internal recognition, Henrik has also received positive feedback from customers for his professionalism, expertise, and consistent delivery of high-quality results. This acknowledgment highlights his valuable contributions both within the company and in client-facing projects.
Another highlight of the evening was the celebration of Senior Manager Kristoffer Parikka’s 10-year anniversary with Appmore. To honor his long-term dedication and contributions to the company’s growth and success, we took the opportunity to recognize Kristoffer with a special acknowledgment. Appmore’s CEO, Kai Lempinen, gave speeches for both Kristoffer and Henrik, highlighting their valuable impact and achievements.
After the cruise concluded at Kauppatori, the festivities continued as the group headed to Appmore’s private karaoke room. Laughter and singing filled the room as employees took turns showcasing their musical talents and cheering each other on.
The autumn celebration was a pleasant opportunity to spend time with the team outside of the usual work setting. It allowed everyone enjoy each other’s company, and reflect on the year’s achievements.
